About Mitzi McCartha
Having received a graduate degree in adult psychiatric nursing from Vanderbilt University, Mitzi McCartha is a registered nurse who has had many years of experience in different arenas of the health care industry. Originally trained to do traditional psychotherapy, her paths in nursing eventually led her in different directions. Throughout those interesting experiences, however, she was oftentimes haunted by not being involved in what she was primarily educated to do. She missed “getting in there” with people and helping them achieve a more satisfied state of being. Fast-forwarding to her present state, she made a wonderful discovery that she could actually put her skills to great use by being a life coach–thus, Outlook Success Life Coaching was born!
What does Mitzi bring to the table as a life coach? Throughout the years she has not only been involved in the health care scene, but she has flexed her entrepreneurial muscles as well. She was involved in the antiques and gift industry for several years, experienced being a wedding videographer, and currently owns Stardust Designs Bead Shoppe in Nashville, TN. She has published two books on beading, and loves interacting with the myriad of customers that come through the door. Having recently engaged in becoming a general transcriptionist, she feels this task helps increase her awareness and understanding of the human condition on many planes, including public, personal, and business. She continually develops her spirituality to help maintain focus and balance in her life and strives to actualize her fullest potential. She has been happily married for nine years to a wonderful spouse.
Why the name Outlook Success? Mitzi believes that most everyone desires to be successful, and if we can be mindful of where we want to go and where we are going, we can be the “success story” of our own lives. By focusing on people’s positives and help them realize they really do have their own answers, Mitzi hopes that she can use coaching to help people “jump-start” themselves to building a more enlightened and fulfilling life that we are all entitled to live.
